Celebrity Makeup Artist – Cherag Bambboat

Cherag Cherag Bambboat is a celebrity makeup artist who has worked in the film industry for the past 12 years. Some of his muses have beenĀ  Rekha, Yukta Mookhey, Isha Koppikar, Tara Sharma, Aditi Govitrikar, Ayesha Takia, Payal Rohatgi, Tanushree Dutta, Koena Mitra, Lisa Hayden, Hrishita Bhatt, Neeta Ambani, Kamal Sidhu… the list is endless! He has also done the makeup for the song Jai Ho in Slumdog Millionaire, along with countless other Bollywood films such as Shootout at Wadala, Ragini MMS 2 and Dhoom 3.

Cherag has done makeup and hair on models like Nina Manuel, Carol Gracias, Shruti Agarwal and others for designers like Rohit Bal, Aki Narula, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Rocky S , and photographers like Daboo Ratnani, Mahender Soni etc.

Cherag has been a trainer at top makeup companies Clarins, MAC and Kryolan, and his work has appeared in Seventeen Magazine, Hair Magazine, L’Officiel and other leading fashion publications. He has also done two beauty pageants – Femina Miss India and I AM SHE.SunnyChirag

Cherag’s specialty lies in creating magic with colours and brushes, and he gets his inspiration from nature’s own creations. He likes to experiment with textures, structures, shapes, depth, dimension and believes in the importance of highlighting and contouring to enhance one’s features.
